Any
Image, design or logo can be etched into stone and many other
materials. If you don't know your what your image should be, our graphic
team is ready to help locate, select or design custom artwork
for your laser etchings. We have made arrangements with various artists who sell rights to their images or artwork. Typically a fee is involved to secure these rights and would be an additional charge.

Our
laser etchings can be done on regular 12"x12" stone
tiles or custom slab materials. Using
various types of materials, we can produce etchings to fit any needs from
6" x 6" to 100ft x 100ft. It just depends on your
project needs and selection. |

Select your

The most
popular material for our laser etchings is on polished Black Granite and
Black Marble. However, we can accomodate etches on Travertine,
Slate, Wood, Acrylic, Glass, Anodized Aluminum, leather and many other
materials. |

Adding color to images
| |
|
|
| |
For our
customers that prefer color etchings, Rembrandt Design can enhance the image back to near original by hand staining the stone.
Artists work by hand staining color into the stone,
actually impregnating the grain to provide a permanent and
full color image. Once completed all tiles are sealed
to protect them.
Not
all etchings or all materials can be colored. Call us for answers
to your specific project questions.

 Contact us by phone or e-mail and send us a photo or electronic pic.
Photos and pics should be of high quality to ensure a quality etching.
Tell us what size and material you're considering and any text you want.
We'll get back to you in 48hrs with a reply and work on your request.
Next is to work with you to put together an example of the project for your review & approval.
If everything is OK, we'll create the etching. All you need to do is arrange for payment by personal check ,money order or VISA/ MASTERCARD.
Our pricing is determined on the square footage of a project and the type of material being engraved. Usually marble, granite are priced the same. We charge slightly more when laser etching glass and wood projects. When we quote you a price it will include the material and engraving. Some other companies charge these separately.

Most of our projects that our simple etchings and small scale can be completed in a week or less. Our specialty gifts can be completed in one day. We send out a proof to the customer for approval prior to burning the image onto the tiles.
We can ship anywhere in the United States. Smaller pieces
are sent USPS priority unless otherwise requested, while larger
pieces are packaged and shipped using a custom built crate/container and
sent by standard freight. |

Site installation of project:

Our
tiles are prepared and shipped out ready for permanent or
non-permanent installation. Permanent installations are performed
just as traditional stone tile and slab materials. Although
Rembrandt Design does not handle installations, we can assist your installer with any
questions. Normal and compatible mortar for the type of material is used. |

For
non-permanent installations, such as wall hanging,
Rembrandt's projects can be framed and displayed just like ordinary pictures. Although stone etchings
can be heavy, the tiles can be supported into metal frames that hold the weight.
